Class Descriptions

BODYFLOW is the yoga, tai chi, Pilate's workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.
BODY ATTACK - The high-energy sports-inspired cardio workout that builds strength and stamina. This cardiovascular training program is inspired by sports training. It demands and builds endurance and motivation. It's hard work - but fun, exciting and rewarding.
BODYCOMBAT - the fiercely energetic martial arts workout where you are totally unleashed and empowered. It combines the disciplines of karate, boxing and tae-kwon-do into a choreographed routine that improves strength, speed, co-ordination and flexibility - not to mention self-confidence, wellbeing and self-assertiveness.
BODYPUMP - challenge yourself with the original barbell class that strengthens and tones your entire body. BODYPUMP™ is a weights workout to music. It is the fastest way to burn fat, tone muscles and strengthens up your body. Because it is so challenging, those who do it feel a real sense of achievement and self-confidence.
BODYSTEP - Feel liberated and alive with the energizing step workout that pushes fat burning systems into high gear. Each fat-burning step workout features choreography with high-intensity intervals followed by muscle conditioning phases to shape and tone the entire lower body. You will come away feeling uplifted, care free and alive.
ZUMBA - ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principals of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.
BELLY DANCING - Belly dance is a beautiful art form that's great for health and fitness. It's a fun low impact exercise for expressing your creativity, or just for feeling good.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga - Emphasizes continuous, fluid movement, blending asanas (postures) with connecting movements (Vinyasas) and strong focus on the breath. This will build internal heat while improving strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health.
Restorative Yoga - A series of supported poses that incorporate props (may bring blocks, blanket, straps) to help the body reach a state of deep rest. This class promotes conscious relaxation and the regeneration of one's mind, body, and spirit. The perfect complement to a strenuous week's worth of work and workouts.
